Music has always been part of Ester Brewda's life.

Her passion for music expresses itself in her art and her teaching methods.

Born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) she graduated from the Carlos Lopez Buchardo Conservatory of Music (piano) and later from the Teatro Colón´s Art Institute (voice.) She currently resides in Weston, Florida (U.S.A.) and took advanced voice studies with Miriam Arman and Ariel Mendelson.

After graduating, prizes in several competitions soon followed, such as Leonor Hirsch de von Buch (to study in Munich with Ernst Hæfliger and later with Erik Werba in Vienna), and Wagner International Institute in Argentina (finalist.)

After moving to the United States, Ms. Brewda has performed in Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, Miami, Coral Gables, and New York.

In 1994, she was invited by Mr. Hollander-Calix (opera and concert management) to perform in Kharkhov (Ukraine) G. Verdi's LaTraviata which was warmly received by critics and public alike. Ms. Brewda has also appeared in leading roles from works such as Lucrezia by O. Respighi, I Pagliacci by R. Leoncavallo, Der Graf von Luxembourg by F. Lehar, and Carmen by G. Bizet. In addition, she performed in Mozart's Requiem with the Florida Miami Opera.

In 1997, as a recitalist, Ms. Brewda performed at the University of Miami's Gusman Hall, a wide Polish repertoire by such composers as F. Chopin, K. Szymanowski, and S. Moniusko. In 1998, she performed (at Gusman Hall) French, Russian, and Argentinian songs, sponsored by the Consulate of Argentina. In 2010, she performed at the Museo Fernández Blanco and at A.M.I.A., in Argentina. Among other concerts, in 2011, she sang a duo recital with mezzo-soprano Veronica Fink-Menvielle with Argentinean, Czech, and German songs, under the auspices of the respective Consulates.

As a pianist, she accompanies different instrumentalists (oboe, bassoon, etc.).
